Student Microscope with Halogen Lamp & Transformer ZN16
Infralab designs special Microscopes for students, and make good teaching tools. Student microscopes are classified as high power (compound) and low power (stereo & dissecting). Compound microscopes highly magnify thin specimen sections mounted on microscope slides. They are ideal for observing cells and cell structure. Almost every student will use a 400x or 1000x compound microscope to study biology and life science. Stereo & dissecting microscopes have lower magnifications of 10 to 80x, and are designed for viewing whole objects like rocks, insects, flowers, and dissection specimens. They are important for advanced nature studies and ideal for young children since an object can be viewed without slide preparation.
